The GMOS Mercury Modelling Task Force 
The GMOS Mercury Modelling Task Force is taking place at the CNR-IIA, in Rome (14-15th April). The meeting is being attended by colleagues from the US, Canada, Russia and Germany, with a number of colleagues worldwide connected via videoconferencing. The program of the Task Force modelling exercises will be available soon after of the end of the meeting. Read more...

GMOS was adopted as a GEOSS Showcase
The Group on Earth Observations (GEO) has selected GMOS as showcase to demonstrate how the GEOSS can support Convention and Policies as well as pioneering activity in the environmental monitoring using highly advanced e-infrastructure. Have a look at the video. 
GMOS registered as a GEOSS Component
The GMOS Web Map Service has been registered as a GEOSS component. To explore metadata the GEOSS broker or the EUROGEOSS broker can be used.

GEO plenary meeting
The Tenth Plenary Session of the Group on Earth Observations (GEO-X) and the 2014 GEO Ministerial Summit, hosted by Switzerland, is taking place in the Geneva, from 15 to 17 January 2014.
